The Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta is dedicated to enhancing the economic and financial literacy of youth across the southeastern United States with effective educational programs and resources for educators and students in grades K–12. The Atlanta Fed’s workshops, on-site tours, classroom curricula, and other tools provide both teachers and students applicable classroom knowledge about the Federal Reserve System and related concepts of economics and personal finance.
In addition, our education outreach advisers can visit college and university methods and practicum classes to demonstrate Federal Reserve Bank economic education lessons and share resources. These presentations lead to enhanced classroom instruction of economics, personal finance, and related topics.
Contact one of our education outreach advisers for more information about programs available in each of the Sixth District's locations, including Atlanta, Birmingham, Jacksonville, Miami, Nashville, and New Orleans.
Educators can earn a professional development certificate from the Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis by participating in an estimated 10 hours of lessons, readings, and online programming. There is no fee.
Teachers can attend a variety of workshops and webinars. These professional development programs are designed to enhance classroom instruction of the Federal Reserve System, economics, personal finance, career readiness, and related topics. Review our calendar of upcoming events.
