Eduardo (Eddy) Arriola is founder, chairman of the board, and chief executive officer of Apollo Bank. Apollo Bank is a community bank focused on servicing entrepreneurs, small businesses, family-owned businesses, and professionals. Apollo Bank has over $1 billion in total assets, with branches across Miami-Dade. Apollo Bank has been recognized as one of the "Best Companies to Work For" by Florida Trend magazine since 2015 and as one of the "Best Banks to Work For" by American Banker magazine since 2016.
Prior to founding Apollo Bank, Mr. Arriola cofounded Inktel, one of the largest call center companies in the United States.
Mr. Arriola is a member of the board of directors of the Miami Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. He also serves as the chairman of the Inter-American Foundation, a U.S. government agency based in Washington, DC, created to support grassroots development in Latin America and the Caribbean. His appointment to this position was made by the president of the United States. He was confirmed by the U.S. Senate in 2012 and continues to serve as chairman and board member. He is a former board member of TotalBank, gMed Corp, Florida Bankers Association, BankServ, and several not-for-profit and community organizations. He is also a member of the Young Presidents Organization and Leadership Florida.
He received a BA degree from Boston College in 1994 and graduated from the Harvard Business School, OPM Program for Owner/President Management in 2006. He has been recognized as one of South Florida Business Journal's "Most Powerful Bankers" multiple times and one of Florida Trend's "Florida 500" most influential executives.
