Christy Thomas is executive vice president of compliance at Jemison Metals in Birmingham, Alabama. Jemison Metals, a leading supplier of carbon flat-rolled products, is headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama, with locations in Decatur, Alabama; Gadsden, Alabama; Cleveland, Ohio; Sumter, South Carolina; and Lynchburg, Virginia.
Ms. Thomas recently served as the chief financial officer and executive vice president of administration for Milo's Tea Company Inc., a family-owned business headquartered in Birmingham, Alabama. Milo's is a manufacturer and distributer of consumer beverages sold in over 30,000 retail locations in 45 states, with over $250 million in annual revenue. Before this position, she served as vice president of finance and global controller for North Highland, a global consulting firm with over $400 million in revenue.
Earlier in her career, Ms. Thomas served as vice president of finance at Mohawk Industries, in strategic planning and analysis for the Home Depot, and as vice president of finance and accounting at Equifax.
Ms. Thomas is chair of the board of directors of the Birmingham Branch of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta and a member of the Momentum Leadership Board in Birmingham, the Greater Birmingham Humane Society, and the Girl Scouts of North-Central Alabama. She is a member of the American Institute of CPAs, the Georgia Society of CPAs, and the Financial Executives Institute.
Ms. Thomas earned a bachelor's degree in accounting and an MBA in taxation at Georgia State University.
